    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is basically using outside resources for your own personal benefit. Stuff like asking other players outside of the game for in-game information, etc, using otherworldly advantages
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming is a personal, forced application against someone/something. You are taking action into an occurrence that only you find applicable. By doing this, you are choosing what is happening without consequence.
