Greetings applicant! Welcome to The Lord of the Craft!

    Application Rules

    • You must be at least thirteen (13) years old to join LotC. There are no exceptions to this rule.
    • You must have completely read the server rules to be accepted.
    • Your application must entirely be your own original work. Plagiarism isn’t tolerated. If you plagiarize any section of your application, you will be denied.
    • You cannot create a noble or royal character, or create a character that is friends with a noble or royal, without the permission of the player whose character’s child, or friend, you will be playing.
    • You cannot create a character that:
      • Possesses or knows the details of magic.
      • Is physically flawless or is omniscient, as these are both classified as powergaming.
    • Your Character Age must be at least 18.
      • Humans, elves, and dwarves all reach physical and mental maturity at 18.
      • Culturally, humans reach maturity at the standard 18 years, while dwarves and elves reach this at 50 with the exception of snow elves at 30.
      • Halflings reach physical and mental maturity at 33.
      • Orcs reach physical mature anywhere between 12-18, and they mentally mature at 18.
    • You can create an evil character; however, you should keep in mind that villainous characters must adhere to our villainy rules, and poor-quality villainy roleplay could lead to Moderation intervention.

    Application Guidelines

    • Remember to read all notes under each text box. Some of these include requirements for your application, helpful tips, and so on.
    • Your Character Skin should match the gender, race, and physical description (as best as possible) of your character.
    • Generally, try to keep your application free of grammar mistakes and spelling errors. We aren’t looking for perfection, but a well-written application makes the reviewing process much smoother

    Final Note

    • Check often to see if a Community Team member has reviewed your application. You will receive either an Accepted, Pending, or Denied response with a comment explaining what to do next.

    • While waiting to be reviewed, feel free to log onto LotC as a [Soul]. Souls are the unwhitelisted rank that applicants have, allowing them to fly and explore, as well as chat with members of our community in the [WS] chat channel. Our players and staff are always happy to help with questions, so don't be afraid to ask! Our Community Team members have a [C] prefix in-game if you ever are looking to PM someone with a question.
    • Be sure to save your application in a separate program like Google Docs or Microsoft Word while you're working on it, just in case!

Toss was born in an orc pirate crew. His parents were members if a pirate crew that camped out in Atlas. They would raid any passing ships and venture inland into the ruins to stash their loot. It wasn't long after his birth however that a group of wood elf mercenaries stormed the ruins they hid away in. The pirates were eradicated and while looting the place, the wood elves found a little goblin. A wood elf woman who was merciful enough to take him in acted as his mother, giving him his elven name. He was raised by the mercenary group, treated as something of a mascot. They taught him everything they could, teaching him how to fight. It was this group that taught him the ways of Morea. He was easily convinced into worship of the wolf god as he had proven to be a skilled fighter for his age, and any religion that rewarded him for that sounded like the right thing to do. He worked tirelessly to better himself up through his teen years until he was fifteen and got a chance to fight in his first battle. He was supposed to act as a sharpshooter, picking off unsuspecting foes with a longbow. However, when the fight proved to be far harder than the group expected, he took a longsword from a fallen foe and charged into the fray to help his family. Unfortunately for him, one of the first foes he encountered was an olog. He had tried every trick he had on the massive creature but the miniscule goblin was sent flying by a single swing from the olog. He was left broken and bloodied in one humiliating move, forced to watch the olog kill a few of his comrades before he was eventually rescued at the price of yet another life. He was reprimanded for his recklessness and was warned that he was simply too weak to stay in up front battles. This humbled him greatly. He had been training previously for nothing more than fun, but now it actually meant something. He had to prove he wasn't a burden. He never stopped training, even skipping sleep some days. He spent the next few years fighting alongside his family and learning everything he could learn. By the time he was 19, he'd learned everything he could. This did not sate him however, so he left in order to try and find more ways to better his combat ability. He promised his people he'd return only once he had become so strong, even Morea would recognize his might.

How would you define roleplay, and have you ever roleplayed before?: I've been roleplaying since I was 10. I would define it very simply. Playing a role. Pretending to be someone you're not in a place you are not in.
Are there any rule(s) that confuse you or don’t make sense?: Not really
Character Name: Tossair'malii A.K.A. "Toss"
Character Race: Goblin
Character Gender: Male
Character Age: 19
Physical Description: Height: 3'6
Weight: 153
EC: Dark Brown
HC: Black
Build: Lanky
Clothing: Styled after Halfling fashion
Personality Traits/Quirks: Toss hates being belittled for being small or young. He tends to compare himself to others, getting self conscious if he cannot keep up with his peers. He loves animals (especially wolves)
What does your character want to achieve? What drives them?: Toss fanatically follows Morea and constantly tries to better himself to become a warrior that his god would appreciate. He wants more than anything to become a warrior that is feared and respected all across the world.
What is your character’s biggest fear? What caused them to develop this fear?: He is terrified of losing. He dreads the day where he gets into a fight that he simply has no chance of winning. He constantly tells himself he's strong, that nobody can hurt him. The illusion shatters if he fails.
Roleplay Scenario:

"Err, all of that...I guess." The well dressed (for a goblin)  goblin said as he looked around the market, rubbing his chin as he decided what to do next. "I'm a mercenary you see, and I'm looking for work. But I don't want any boring bodyguarding jobs. I wanna go out and do some fighting!" He explained as his gaze turned upwards towards the man, seeming somewhat lost in all the chaos of the bustling bazaar. Clearly he was out of his element.  "That being said, I have no idea where to start here. Back home finding the jobs was never part of mine. So...uhh, know anybody hiring...?"
