    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Powergaming is when you dont just controll your character but you controll the other characters outcome.

Oliver Was just an eight year old boy when his parents were killed by the orcs in there home for a crime they did not commit. Oliver watched from a crack in the door as father was beaten to death and his mother was dragged out of the room to soon get beheaded. His father was a hunter and taught Oliver to become very skilled with a bow. Oliver ran away and was adopted by a wood elf named Hartha.  She brought him to the Wanaca Woods.  There she taught him there religion as he already possessed his connection to his family.  He left her when he turned 18 to begin his journey.  He has been set on a quest to build a team of humans to find out who had killed his parents. He will stop for noting and will do-whatever he has to do no-matter the consequence.  He one day wants to fight alongside the Adunians and be lead by the elefs like Hartha.

Character Gender: Male
Character Age: 18
Physical Description: Oliver Is tall, allways holding a bow. He is allways looking behind his shoulder and trusts no one. He has dark hair and tends to blend in.
Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”

✦ Note that Linandria was the old wood elven city in Axios which we left several decades ago. As of now the descendants have moved to Atlas and formed new cities. I suggest you look over the wiki for more information and correct that. 

 

Your application was good but not good enough to be truly perfect. Though fret not as you have 24 hours to make the changes.

I recommend that you check out the "New Player Discord" and wiki when times allow it!
