You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story."

As you sit your eyes begin to dart around the room. Taking in a breath you respond "Well, it's been a long week of travel. I've gone from a far ways to get here". "I am very aware" she responds. You sit myself down on the muggy couch and look at the aged building. You can feel yourself calm down now because you know your safe here even if it wasn't the most caring company or comfortable house. You start to speak again "Thank you for letting me stay here, I promise to work very hard for you". You think to yourself about my plans to make into main city but this is the first step. Get my feet on the ground and get to working. Ever since you were a kid you've dreamed of heading to the big city but your family didn't have the finances to ever do that. Luckily you've found this lady that would help you in exchange for some work. "Its so nice to meet you in person and not have to wait for months to send letters. Oh yeah, you asked my story? Well it started when I was young I saw pictures of the city and heard people tell amazing stories about it. It filled me with inspiration and I made a plan. First I needed to convince my parents, which luckily was not so bad. Then I needed to figure out how I was going to get there and where I was going to stay. So I talk to many people exchanged for a horse ride to the city and got me writing to you. So that's how it went".
