    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Meta-gaming is when someone tells you something out of character and you take it into character. For example, "George has broken the law, OOC" and then you'd take it into character and report him to the guards.
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: It is when you do something that is unfair for the current situation in game. For example, giving your character godly powers during a fight or forcing emotes upon the opposing character; "*Bill decides to run away*".

Lyra was the only child of her parents; Dougless Arcanum and Shyla Arcanum. They lived in a small village with a small group of friends and family. When Lyra was born, the whole village came and witnessed her birth, not including her Uncle. When she was a bit older, she learnt everything she needed for survival from her mother and, day to day “musts” by her father. They lived by a gorgeous lake for a while, until they were forced to move. The new area they had to go to wasn’t very nice and it was full of dangerous individuals. Her parents decided to let her live with her Aunt as they had no choice but to stay, it was difficult for Lyra and her parents to say goodbye. Lyra lived with her Aunt until she passed away of an illness, similar to the flu. So, without any contact of other family, she moved on in life singularly. She longs too meet with her parents at some point again, if they are still alive that is...

Lyra is now 22 and lives by herself, she’s started to socialize more and try to create a new life, a new story, a new chapter. Her parents told her about a nation named Ruska, and it’d chilling but beautiful cold weather and matching surrounding, is this where she could end up?

*PS: with the physical description + personality traits/quirks, it would not let me write much along the page so that’s why I had to do it in columns.*

“Thank you for your greet kind Sir”, Lyra curtsy's to him politely, “In all honesty, Sir, I am here to start a new adventure, to get away from my past. Well, not exactly as the past makes who you are but, just to start over, I guess.” She explains, with her hands folded in-front of her and her posture correctly.

  • Your Character Biography appears to be well written, however, it is lacking with regards to relevant information from LotC- It does not appear to include the mandatory (1) lore piece from the LotC Wiki.
  • Both your Character’s Physical Description and Personality Traits appear to be sufficient, though I would recommend you to review them and ensure they are in the minimum (3) complete sentences.
