Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

A wood-elf enters the tent with an uncomfortable look on his face. He shifts awkwardly as the older woman asks him a question. "I'm not sure, I was hoping you could help." He admits, rubbing his arm while avoiding eye-contact. He sits down as and clears his throat as she gestures. "You see, my mind is blank- all I remember is my first name; Lhyris, nothing more. I-I mean I can take a guess on my parentage through my clothing and my hair, that meaning, its likely I'm at least partially wood-elf. I don't think I'm half-human. The person who found me made said I might have high elf or dark elf in my blood. Not that any of it matters, of course, but I was hoping it would give a clue as to where I come from... Unfortunately, it didn't. So now I'm lost. Any chance you could help me?"
