    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Using knowledge learned ooc of a character for your own gain. There could be a trap waiting for you on the other side of the door, but you would know this. Not your character.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Using the "automatic hit" in your favor despite what the rp might be doing either through chat or battle. Not even the Grim Reaper gets to take off someone's head on the first strike.

Amsel dearly hoped that she'd never have to take a long boat ride like that again. And why was it always carrots that came up? She hadn't been able to touch a carrot for at least a couple days before even getting on that blasted voya-- The woman stepped back, suddenly brought out of digestion distress to the present as another seemed to call her attention. "That's not entirely any of your business," She responded, tone flat for the most part as green eyes pinned the figure before her through the lens of her spectacles. And then the thought came to mind to quickly correct the answer. "Unless you know where I may get the supplies, ingredients and books required to operate a potion stand?" Honestly, she would never have stepped on that boat to come to a larger city, but she needed this for her research.
