    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Metagaming is the utilization of information outside of your own character. An example is asking a friend for help in the game, outside of the game.
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Powergaming in it's simplest form is restricting your character to realistic, attainable actions within a particular universe. For example; if your character is flying in a universe where thats not existent versus flying in a superhero universe.

Logrey Northwode was raised in a large Nordic village with the intention of becoming a knight, however this goal was forced upon him by his father. The constant pressure to become a knight not only resulted in disgust towards his father, but also a passionate hate against combat due to its brutality. However, his once aspired goal of becoming a knight was derailed at age 22 upon witnessing the brutal death (in combat) of his closest friend. It was at that moment, sword in hand and armor bloodied, when he had the revelation to leave his village for good, knowing that he would never blindly kill under order again. This is exactly what he did. He set across the unknown to seek adventure and live life acknowledging its rarity and cherishing everything it has to offer. Having received extensive combat training Northwode is an extremely skilled swordsman and uses his skills sparingly, only when he has to. He has a reserved personality and acts modestly, despite his relatively wealthy upbringing. He carries only the armor on his back and the sword in his hand. However, despite moving lightly he has a hidden outpost in an abandoned Dwarven cave where he stores the riches from his journeys. Logrey Northwode could best be summarized in the following way; as an independent fighter.

Physical Description: Upon approach he stands at an average height of five foot nine, has a toned build and a round face with long golden hair and piercing blue eyes.
Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”
