Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Eadwig stares in confusion. "You've been expecting me...?" Eadwig take a step back in confusion and glance over his right shoulder towards the exit. In the vast distance is nothing to be seen as the air is engulfed in fog.
"Okay I guess I shall have a seat." Eadwig moves to the chair she was pointing to, and he takes a seat.
"My story huh...? Well guess there's no harm in sharing. Get comfortable this might take a while." Eadwig says with a sigh. The hag nods her head as she waits for me to say more.
Eadwig clears his throat in preparation. "Well, it all started 10 years ago. I was merely 16, living in my cottage with my mother and father. My mother was a dear maiden who is the sweetest woman you'd ever meet. And my father, well I guess this is kind of an understatement but, back then... he was the coolest person ever. My father was a soldier for our country, and he was unmatched. His skills with the swords seemed inhumane. He could beat anybody. Or so I thought. On the day I turned 16, my father thought I was finally old enough to wield a sword. I was overcome with joy as my biggest dream was to become just like my father and join our army. A smile overcame his face as he saw how excited I was. But the joy didn't last long. Somebody within the armies' ranks was jealous of my father's success and wanted to take his position in the army. So, he had put together a devious plan with 5 others, to kill my father. And on that faithful day, they struck. They snuck into our home and murdered my father in his sleep and killed my mother as well. When I heard the screams, I had sprung away and rushed into my parent's room, and the site I saw was horrific. My father and mother drenched in blood, my father's last work spoke. "Son please...run!" Overcome with sadness and anger I rushed at the men who had killed my father and mother. Though, I was a very foolish young man. There was 6 of them, and only one of me. I was beaten half to death; they sliced and stabbed me all over my body and even stabbed out my right eye. They had left me there, assuming I would die. And even I thought I was going to die, but my uncle came and saved me. He took me far away from that country. But I was fitted for revenge. I wanted to kill those 6 men. So, I trained. I trained hours after hours after hours. Honing my skills and forever burning the site of those 6 men into my mind. 6 years later, I became a bounty hunter. Seemingly hunting people for money. It was a good way to make cash, but it was an even better way in finding those men. And it worked. One by one, I found and killed all 6 men and my life finally felt fulfilled. Along the way, I picked up a nifty interest in black smithing. Forging my own weapons, I realized I could make a living out of it, forging and selling the very same weapons to others for money. And that about sums it up.  That's my story."
