Robert Carwell was born near Sutica, to a rather poor farming family. Robb did not much like his life growing up, but he kept to his duty and made sure to work diligently. His family often told him of their old history of how their grandfather, Samuel Carwell, was once a brave and skilled warrior that lead men into battle. As he continued to grow more upset with his life as a peasant Robert one day took his grandfather's old longsword and armor and set out into the lands of Atlas. He hopes to one day find a king who is just, so that he faithfully serve them, maybe one day even becoming and knight or lord himself. Yet so far he has had little luck, for he has never been outside of his small village, much less into the heat of battle.

They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”
