    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Powergaming basically means that you are forcing an action upon another player. For example, one may say "Roland lunges towards the person infront of them and kills them".

Roland is from Kingdom of Haense. He is quite a young individual and has a lot of his life ahead of him. He lives along side his mother which is 36 years old and his sister who is 8 years old and was recently close with his father. His father was somewhat of a tough guy and has been training Roland to use many different swords and daggers and taught him to fight up to his high standards. However, his father went out to handle some private business. Roland's father seemed to try to keep the dangers away from the family. He seemed to hang around the wrong crowd. As of 1 year ago his father (Roland Kenwood the Second) was supposed to meet with some "friends" and never returned to this day. His condition is unknown to his family but they presume he is dead. Leaving all the "manly" work to young Roland the Third.

Character Gender: Male
Character Age: 19
Physical Description: Roland has light green eyes, somewhat short brown hair, light complexion, fit/built for his young age and is about 6 feet tall.
Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”
