    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Metagaming is when you use information that your character normally wouldnt have such as info from a friend on discord about how the orcs plan to fight.

A young elven lad. born in a war zone he grew up without knowing his mother, for she had simply been kidnapped and enslaved by bandits. but moved to the  empire of man with his father till he was 30,  until this point, he was relaying on crime for food and shelter. when he reached the age of 30 he wanted to explore the world of atlas and so he did. traveling from city to city he stopped at curon, meeting a nice man who was willing to take him in in extange for him to join the urses, the army of curon. So he agreed, he took up arms and fought for curon.

Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”
