Gawa was born to an insignificant Gypsy's caravan on Axios in 1639. Only a few months after birth, her mother sold her to the elder of another caravan, and promptly disappeared from Gawa's life thereafter. She has no memory of her father, and only shadows of her mother. Her name was never uttered when she was sold, and instead was called 'Mica', which roughly translated to 'Little' or 'Little one'. When disaster struck Axios, the caravan migrated to Atlas, where Gawa grew up. At about five or six did Gawa leave the name 'Mica' behind and adopted her current name. Through growing up she traveled often, following her caravan as it traveled across Atlas. In recent years, however, there has been a major shift in Gawa's personality. She became a lot more reclusive, secretive, obsessive. She left her caravan on her own journey, slated to seek power long lost. Currently the lone Gypsy travels on her own in a small cart, lead by an old mule, selling wares as she seeks for an unnamed and promised power.
