Aririon Aedael was born in Vaelya. Aririon was an only child and lived with his father (Arnil Aedael) and his mother (Culnirya Aedael). Aririon's father was a Blacksmith and needed work, so they moved to Blazengard when Aririon was 12. Aririon's father brought Aririon to work with him in hopes that Aririon could pass down the family line of blacksmiths. Aririon detested blacksmithing and made it very clear to his father that he would never become one. Aririon's father was so furious with Aririon that he began to lash out at him through abuse; this leads to both Aririon's parents fighting a lot.
Over time Aririon stopped coming home because of the fighting between his parents and would live in the woods outside of Blazengard. He needed a way to survive in the woods, so he snuck into his father's forge and stole a bow. At first, he had no idea how to hunt, but he was determined to do anything if it could get him away from his father. He hunted meat for food and hides for money. He became very skilled at archery and made a decent living off of it.
One day Aririon was in town selling his hides, and he heard some mutterings about a murder that happened the night before. He walked up to the merchant and asked him if he knew what the talk was all about; The merchant told Aririon that an elf named Culnirya was murdered by her husband the night before. Aririon, without another word, ran across town to his parent's house, but no one was there, and Aririon's father was nowhere in sight.
Aririon tried to track down his father to get revenge for what he did, but he never could find him. Aririon blames himself for his mother's death and thinks if he hadn't been so selfish, she could've still been alive. He lives his life with the weight that he caused his mother's death.
