Pariah was born to a wealthy, older goblin Rex and his wife. His family was the ruling bloodline of a powerful goblin clan, and had it not been that Pariah was a twin, he would have had a cushy upbringing. Alas, life did not go the poor goblin's way as when his father found that he had twins, he feared that they would be the end of his rule because he was supposed to produce a lone male heir. Pariah was a small baby, only 3 pounds, with his twin weighing double and already having the physical definition and build of a great goblin warrior. Pariah had the build of a thief, and this would not do for a clan that needed an outwardly strong leader. His father decided to be merciful and gave the poor boy up to another family in secret, but a few years later when Pariah was a bit older, the family had children of their own. Pariah was out of luck, and they abandoned him to the wilderness the very day they heard the news. Pariah remembers only the pain of abandonment and does not know of his "Noble blood". 

Pariah was crushed. He wandered for 2 days along what looked to him like "A winding trail of stone", that was of course a highway. He found civilization by the end of his second day wandering and became a beggar. Two humans picked him up after a few days (He likely would've died without the help of these two kinder males) and decided they would use this boy as a thief.  Pariah was raised until the age of ten as their own, at which point he was trained as an assassin (Not a very good one, he fumbles under high stakes in a fight sometimes), thief, and improvised explosive maker. He finally felt like he had a home, and the trio did quite well until one day when Pariah was 13, a job went south and the two men took the money, leaving the poor boy to die. 

Pariah was outraged. He spent the next two years as a thief and perfected his craft. He came up with new techniques to steal, such as using leather to make crude copies of purses and then swapping them out, only for the owners to notice later, creating cheap explosives that were all sound and cosmetics, and his favorite, a machine with 7 wheels that could be pedaled to move. (The last invention didn't last very long). 

Pariah has now spent the last 3 years as a thief and smuggler, but now that he has made some means he hopes to see and explore the world. He has always dreamed of going to Norland but has been putting off leaving his domain. Now he has finally worked up the courage to leave and is ready to start a new chapter in his life.
