    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is when the player controlling a character uses information or skills learnt out of character and attempts to apply it in character. An example of metagaiming would be if Jim learnt about a strutcural weakness in an enemies base out of character and decided to take advantage of the weakness while in character.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming is when a player acts as if the character is stronger, more powerful or even immortal than allowed and forces other players to accept it. An example of powergaming would be if Mike says that his in game character is a god and cannot be killed and forces enemy players to abide by this fabricated rule.

Batu does not meet the strangers stare, instead he looks beyond into the crowd, his hand clutching his sword instinctively. "crowds mean danger" he whispers to himself. The stranger asks Batu to repeat himself, he replies "I no longer seek such frivolous things and I would advise you to mind your own business. To ask a warrior such a personal question may bring more trouble than you bargained for." Batu steps to the side and continues moving towards the crowd, nervously scanning the area.
