Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

"Of course mistress; as you wish." Kokoro steps quietly beside the cushion and descends elegantly atop it, cradling the folds of her robe beneath her.
Bowing her head respectfully to the woman opposite her, she took a moment to brush a lock of hair away from her face.
"My name is Kokoro. My family weaves clothes, hats and baskets in a small house where I was raised on the outskirts of Koyo-Kuni."
She hesitated, glancing briefly at the woman to check her reaction before proceeding. "I have been sent to look for work in the city, as I am now old enough."
Seeming a little unsettles, her voice was uncertain. "I'm not sure where I'll go next, but I have faith my journey will be joyous."
