Azariah was born in Elvenesse, to a widowed wood elf.  She had a brother, older by two years, named Zandre. Archery had always fascinated Azariah and at age 6, she started learning the skill, spending hours on end shooting arrows at various targets. Apart from archery, Azariah also had a unique interest in the history of the elves, continuously losing herself in any bit of information she gets her hands on. Spending most nights reading about Garthon’s Great War of Unity and the events that transpired because of it. It was during these nights that Azariah grew fond of Taynei’Hiylu, the protector and guide of elf kind. She greatly admired Taynei’Hiylu, and wish to one day be able to see her freed from her shackles, but knows that it is but a faraway dream. Other than her abnormal interests, Azariah had as normal a childhood as any wood elf, but it came to an abrupt end due to her brother's death at age 13. He had drowned trying to save her. She had always been shy by nature, but due to the death of one of her most loved ones, she became closed off and found socializing with other people insignificant. This caused her to lose the little friends she has, yet it did not bother her much, since she had always preferred the company of animals above others. At age 24, Azariah left home after her mother remarried and took on the life of an adventurer, visiting historical places of the elves, learning more about her history. After indulging in her curiosity of the world for six years, at the age of 30, Azariah is looking to become a druid.
