Adira (Ah-Deer-ah) or Deer for short, as just a babe was abandoned near a small but lovely house of worship of the Church of the Canon. An elderly church going couple took her in and raised her with other children they had rescued over time, whether they had been orphaned from raids or left to die like her. The over stuffed house in Oren country side was always bustling with each child having their responsibilities. For the most part it was a child ran household as the couple were often gone working to provide the family with things they couldn't manage to make or grow themselves like clothes and meat. Adiras earliest memories were with being carried by her older siblings while they cooked and cleaned picking up those skills as young as 5. Overtime, as she grew she felt less connected with the large family and found herself reading the misc books brought home to them to escape her boring life. Wishing one day to see some of the places described in the books.
If she didn't have her nose in a book the only chore Adira seemed to enjoy was the garden. Where you could often find her taking care of the many fruits and veggies to feed the family. Although, she wished with was a garden of flowers envious of the ones she would see on the few outings to town.
It was common for the children of the house as they came to the of 18 to leave home. Often they went to help the church, or military depending on their skill set. Adira never really had an interest in faith often coming up missing during church lessons and her being squeamish of blood has kept her away from even thinking of the military. She was getting closer to the age she should leave home.
Day by day, doing chores and being cooped up in the small house slowly drove her leave it to see the beauty of the world. With almost nothing she said her good byes and left her home.
Adira gives a bright smile before responding. "Hello, sir! I agree, I've never seen a city so beautiful!" Looking around the possibilities are endless, her eyes close for a bit to take it all in, but the smile doesn't fade from her face. When she opens her eyes, she answers the gentleman's question. "I'm a bit overwhelmed at the moment, but you could say I'm looking for a little bit of everything."
