Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

"Really now." They asked, head tilted with their pale blond hair falling over their green eyes. "If you really want a story, than I can give you one."
"There was once a beautiful wood elf, who wondered the land for years. She wore a dazzling pair of armor as she went on. The armor served one purpose. To prevent others from crossing her path. It was a way to ward off those with cruel intentions." She paused, her eyes meeting the old hag's. "Yet one day, someone did approach her. A grand High Elf. A cold and calculating man, who was enamored by the armored woman's grace and beauty. The elf covered in armor was confused, yet accepted his affections, as cold as they may have seemed. The two settled down for a few years before the Nomadic elf could no longer stay still and the High Elf could not accept the life of never staying still. The two parted ways, the Nomadic elf with a new gift, the gift of a child, never to see her child's father again." She looked down slightly. "The child is the one in front of you. Moving from place to place after their mother passed. Going through a semi-Nomadic life, waiting and watching as the word pasts by and she yearns to find new knowledge." She closed her eyes and smiled, moving a strand of hair behind her pointed ear and then clasping her hands together in her lap. "That is my origin story, and I am here to pave a new path and explore the world even more. To find a place to settle down and to call a home base so I can continue my ways. I want to learn the way of the lands, stake my claim in new knowledge."
