Henri would grow up with his other two brothers, Pierre and Koffi, in a small-time peasant family farm, located in Lorraine. They would raise high amounts of pigs, chickens, and cows, while also growing wheat. One day, it would end up being revealed that his eldest brother disappeared. Soon enough after this, his youngest brother, Koffi, would also mysteriously be seperated--driving Henri into absolute uncertainty on the conditions of his beloved brothers. About two months before the Imperium of Man's success, the farm would be hit by artillery and consequently would catch fire. When artillery hit the barn, for which Henri was in, depressed and managing hay bales, the barn would suddenly erupt into a violent fire. Upon Henri successfully escaping the barn, through a process of luck and provided farmer-boy strength assisting him, he would have suffered direct thermic burns to his right eye, blinding it permanently.
As of the time Henri's story begins, he is missing his brothers, the place he called home, any beloved belongings, and an eye. He now wanders across Lorraine, attempting to reassure himself that...he at least still has his brothers, even if not in plain sight...right?
A secret for Henri that is unbeknownst to him is due to his mothers un-faithfulness, all of his brothers are really half-brothers.
The traveler has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”

*As Henri's silence is interrupted by the silence in the shack, subtracting the serene noise of the rain pittering just above his head, he turns to the hag with a static expression, before a smirk is brought upon his face* "Well, fair lady, I am here in the search of my two brothers--for whom I have lost track of for the past year or so." *Henri adjusts his neck as he sits back in the chair* "My past isn't exactly too relevant, but during the past year in addition to the misplacement of my brothers, I also lost me farm back in Lorraine, and me eye." *As he states this, Henri points a finger to his easily observable blinded right eye* "Some sparks or somethin' got me brutally, lucky it could even heal at all. Otherwise I'd be wearin' a patch or somethin'" *Henri gives a light chuckle and sits up a little* "As for yer other question, I don't seek much. Only to reunite wit me family, then carry on from there. Hell, even just go back to farmin', not too much else to it." *He grins* "Now, remind me why you were expectin' me again, and then after our conversation has concluded, I'll likely begin makin' me way in me pursuit."
