Lisandr Moravec was born on the year 1638, his birthplace in the city of Markev. His parents, Lukov, a Highlander, and Ivonne, a Heartlander from Oren, were not particularly wealthy, but had made ends meet. Lisandr was raised in a devout Canonist household, one patriotic towards House Barbonov and King Otto II. At a young age, Lisandr would undergo very fundamental bare-bone education, while his father descended into debt that couldn't be paid, with a back condition that made him unable to work the smithy. During this time, Lisandr tried to take the mantle of blacksmithing, having learned the basics from his father in former years. Unable to make enough coin, the boy soon began to rely on thieving in order to bring home the coin necessary to keep the smithy running. Eventually participating with bad crowds, Lisandr got further involved in crime until his mother discovered this secret. Soon after, his father sold the smithy, leading Lisandr to believe his inheritance was revoked, and with some spite leave Markev with less than honorable friends, to travel without shying from occasional breaches of the law. Over time, experience and multiple dangerous encounters gave him some capability with a blade, and he eventually joined a mercenary band. The most recent years were spent on the road, engaging in some dishonorable combat and pillaging where he can, with the band. Recent news of his father's death gives him reason to seek out his homeland.
