Madhousee

You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head.

“What brings you to this dingy town?” she begins, then pauses to study your face. “Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Magnus: Pauses at the entrance, taking in the surroundings. The musty scent of the swamp mingles with the faint aroma of burning herbs. He steps forward, his boots squelching slightly on the damp ground, and moves toward the cushion.

"I am Magnus MacLeod of the Highlands of Ailmere."

He lowers himself onto the cushion, maintaining eye contact with the old hag, feeling the weight of his journey pressing down on him.

"My home has been attacked by dark forces, and I seek allies to help reclaim it and protect my clan."

Magnus shifts slightly on the cushion, his hand instinctively resting on the hilt of his sword for reassurance.

"I am prepared to face whatever challenges lie ahead. My bond with my clan and my determination to protect them will guide me."

He leans forward slightly, his expression resolute, waiting for the old hag’s response. Her eyes gleam with ancient wisdom as she nods.
