    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagamnig is using knowledge in-character that your character shouldn't or doesn't have. For example, going around casting big magic when your character has not learned that in-character.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming is doing things that are either unrealistic or directly overpowered with no in-character context. For instance, ignoring an in-character disability to gain an advantage would be powergaming.

Justin would immediately sidestep this man, as he believes him to likely be some kind of scammer. He would locate the nearest alleyway and set up his tent. He would proceed to say to nobody in particular, "What was with that dude? Guy's just walking around talking to me, probably trying to get into my pockets. This place sucks." Justin would then sleep in his tent, regardless of the time.
