Edmund, suspicious of this man's intentions said - " Sorry, my friend but I don't have any money on me."

As the gentleman's dear smile turned to what could only be categorised as a forceful grin he tried to "gently" pat Edmund's shoulder, Edmund backed away.

Edmund mentally panicked, proceeded to lie - "I would enjoy staying here and talking to you but I have urgent affairs that won't get resolved by themselves" - He fled until the peculiar man had completely disappeared from his sight and then proceeded to visit the city without any odd encounters occurring again on his trip.
