Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

"Me ?" He said with mild confusion in voice. "You surely must be mistaken. I don't believe we've met." He tried making a polite smile, but the smell of rot offending his nostrils made him thrown rudely instead. As the woman continued to gesture at the cushion, he could certainly admire her persistence, despite the creepiness of the whole ordeal. And as he did, the uncanny sense of danger seemed to dissipate, in it's place now only curiosity being left. "Hmm... I'd be rude of me to deny such request. I'll gladly tell you all about my adventures, but... on one condition" He sat down on the cushion as the woman requested, gave her a little forced smile and while twirling his mustache proposed: "In turn, you'll tell me all about those candles..." He paused for a while, waiting for a response from the woman. He must've been satisfied with her nonanwser as he took a deep breath. "I wasn't always like this... walking in ragged clothes and visiting dingy tents with" As he spoke, he caught himself a moment too late. "Uhm sorry about that. didn't mean to be rude. It's a lovely tent... really" It wasn't. "But where was I ? oh right. I had a home, a caring family and..." A small frown painted on Drawan's face as he thought of how to finish the sentence. "I threw it all away. wanted more adventurous live i guess." As he continued talking certain sorrow painted on his face, and the tone lowered as if muffled by the shame itself. "We got desperate. tried something regrettable and before I knew it, I lost my only friend." He looked down on at his feet and sighed deeply. "Now I'm here. Nowhere to go back to, just forward. And that's something" And as his words fell into the silence, it was clear. They weren't directed at the woman at all, bat at Drawan Himself.
