In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Powergaming is the action of forcing some sort of action or role play engagement/plot point on somebody. An example of power gaming would be to state that a player drops their weapon during battle. The situation gives the other player little to no chance

Lillian Gundahar was born shortly prior to the Siege of Vjorhelm, seven years to be more precise. She grew up somewhere unknown to her in Ceru, knowing little more than war during the final few years of Axios. It is because of these times that Lillian's Father taught her how to use a weapon at an early age. Lillian has a basic understanding of how to use larger weapons such as two-handed blades and axes along with some knowledge of weapon forging. Lillian yearns to be a blacksmith to follow in her father's footsteps, sadly she has forgotten her father's name due to their separation during the arrival in Atlas. She eagerly lives life hoping to find her parents again. Similarly to how she lost her father, Her mother Maven, was separated from the two at the beginning of the migration to Atlas. Growing up from a highlander family, Lillian has always felt at home in the cold, her Hanseti blood has made her much better at dealing with cold weather, its for this reason she tends to stay near colder areas. She was seven years old when the migration to Atlas began, so when she arrived to Atlas it hadn't changed her very much. Upon arrival she searched around for some time for her parents in the towns and villages, after two years of searching she had been convinced by many that her family was gone forever, and had given up hope. Not long after, she was taken in by a traveling merchant in a caravan when she was about ten years old. She stuck with the trader until the trader could not nurture her anymore, leaving her in the city of Holm. She had to fend for herself for a few years learning some minor skills such as hunting very small animals and roasting small meats, She also learned some talent in playing the lute from her caravan foster-parent. As she matured in the city of Holm, she began searching for somebody to teach her in becoming a blacksmith, at the age of twenty one, Lillian's journey truly begins.

Lillian has always been very fascinated by nature, so she loves creatures such as insects and small critters, she has always dreamed of owning a domestic hound of some sort, something that will complement her strength, courage, and obedience. She is also very interested by any sort of large blade or weapon, it always enlightens her to see a well crafted weapon. Lillian likes drinking, music, communities, and a few specific plants that make her especially happy, such as the crouching feather. Along with the things she does enjoy, she also has many things she does not. Some of these things include swamps, thunderstorms, Gy'waka birds, and Ooze.
