Thurgrouth hails from Kaz’Ulrah, born to Lutraeg and Kabrila Bronzebranch. His mother Kabrila was a baker and his father Lutraeg worked in a smithy. Thurgrouth spent his youth helping in the smithy and eventually decided to head out on his own path as a miner. He learned to enjoy the peacefulness of being alone while prospecting for various kind of ores and such although his lack of contact with others lead to the deterioration of his social skills. At the age of 50, Thurgrouth struck it rich, discovering quite a large vein of gold but ended up losing the entire claim in a drunken game of dice. Ten years later, now 60, Thurgrouth tends to keep to himself and away from both gambling and drinking as he seeks his next stroke of luck.
