At a young age Brifyr could remember traveling along with his mother and sister across the continent of Almaris. Although he can't remember the specifics of every nation he visited as a young lad, he most definitely remembered the joys of his mothers stories. His mother would tell him stories of mythical and surreal creatures that roamed the lands of Almaris. Sometimes he would even attempt to sneak into his mothers research notes to take a peek at such creatures. They ranged from pictures of muddy humanoid beings to what he thought were huge flying fish. Even after being beaten by his mother for having snooped in her research, he was captivated by the existence of such creatures. As he grew up he traveled from Norland and learned of The Red Faith, to Oren and observed their great power. Despite all the sight seeing and learning, he would never forget the pictures, the memories, and the stories that his mother had shared with him when he was still a child. Now that his mother is gone it's his responsibility to continue to watch over his little sister and maybe even start his own aspirations towards researching the creatures that inhabit Almaris.
Brifyr nods then smiles at the gentleman and says "I was actually just going to walk on through but now that you ask, do you know of any place that might serve some quality food?"
