    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Metagaming is the act of using out of character knowledge, in character, considering that your character should not be able to have knowledge of that information. Asking for help in ooc, concerning in character subjects, can also be considered meta
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Powergaming is the act of depicting you roleplay partner’s character actions, yourself, without letting your partner decide their character’s outcome, for example “He knocked him out with a blow” would be power gaming, thus the correct form of it would be

Dhelia was born on the year 1629, specifically on the 23rd day of the Sun’s Smile. 

 

Her mother was a strong woman, that had definitely strong wits, later on to be passed down to her daughter, her father was an independent man, but he loved his family, and they loved him. Both of Dhelia’s parents were mercenaries, and died several months after her 9th birthday, in the Battle Of the Bloody Road, where Norland attacks, amongst a certain Empire, the Kingdom of the Hansetti-Ruska, her family living in it’s capital, Markev.

 

Her parents, fearing the little girl’s safety, sent her to live with some distant Heartlander relatives in Santegia, where she has lived since. 

 

To Dhelia, Santegia never felt, and will never feel like her home, considering the fact that these ‘distant relatives’ despised her for her highlander attributes, and culture, thus escaping the family at the age of 18.

 

Nowadays, Dhelia has yet to settle down, find a stable job, and live her life freely, but her dream is to go back to her homeland, the Kingdom of the Hansetti-Ruska, something that contrasts with her ilusion to learn magic.

Character Race: Highlander
Character Gender: Female
Character Age: 20
Physical Description: Bright blue eyes that are the books of her emotions, fiery red hair, and soft-looking and pale skin. She was stronger than she looked, and short.
Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”
