Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

The person has a brief moment of panic over their eyes, before composing themselves. "Ah, it seems as though I've walked into the wrong tent, my sense of direction is... poor. My lady, I don't intend to bother you any longer.

Erencui Rodrigos steps out of the tent hurridly. A loud noise occurs and some yelling and Erencui comes back to the hag's amusement. 

"Say, you wouldn't know where the tavern is would you? I've walked into someone else's tent and they weren't very happy about it." 

"You should at least indulge me by sitting and talking a bit before I tell you" says the hag.

Erencui stands akwardly, before perhaps realizing his appearance and straightening himself up, grabbing a seat at one of the cushions. The hag pours some tea. 

"Once again I ask stranger. What is your story? says the hag.

Erencui Osiris pushes his golden hair out of his face, revealing a simple eyepatch. The thought of telling his story to someone whose tent he barged into is awkward to say the least, but he proceeds to tell his story. Erencui was born outside the city of Nueva Vida. Born as farmers for the city, Erencui lived a life of a farmer's aid, helping his mother sow the fields and harvest the crops amidst the dry weather. Many, many years go, long before Erencui was born, Hyspia gained its independence and after years of fighting off orc invasions, now had a sovereign nation to call its own. The downside to this was that Erencui struggled to find a purpose, being born too late to participate in the founding of Hyspian Independence or the defense from the orc invasions. Erencui believed that he would be satisfied as a farmer, but felt a growing wanderlust and dissatisfaction with his life, and to top it off, Erencui's sense of direction is completely wonk. Unable to keep directions in their head, they are often told not to wander too far from home. But one day, Erencui stepped onto a ship to originally aid in fishing, but was accidently on a merchant ship and only realized his mistake when they were far down the river. Erencui took this opportunity to learn about the world, and would serve as a sailor on the ship until it reached the nation of Koyo-Kuni. There Erencui would meet the merchant Rei, and Rei would teach the young man the ways of Mercantile work, after taking a liking to the clutz of aa proud man. Erencui would work for her of course, and would travel with her up and down from Koyo-Kuni to Uruguan, trading goods for the metals and artisan works of the dwarves. Erencui would really come into his own here, becoming a proud and on the surface amiable and charimatic man, while still possessing qualities of his clutziness, and and tend to act like he knows whats going on, even when he doesn't, fancying himself as a enigmatic business man, but letting people see his more toned down qualities and and down to earth nature derived from his life as an honest farmer, when he gets to know people. Eventually, Rei and Erencui would part ways once Erencui became experienced enough to do tradecraft, and now Erencui wanders the world, helping carry and sell goods to cities all over. Erencui hopes to one day be a part of something greater, but finds satisfaction and contentment for now.
