Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Autumn's face studied the old hag, his eyes wore a tired and exhausted expression, Years of fighting and suffering has left the old soul with not much to cling to, However as she tells him to sit, he obliges and sits down, looking towards the woman. "My story is hardly my own to tell, Though I'm  afraid I am all that's left to tell it,"  his good eye examines her more thoroughly before he reaches behind his head and adjusts his ponytail. 

"My story starts and ends with the Rose Family, We were attacked when I was very young. I was hidden away by my father, protected until the very end. When I emerged from my hiding spot, our home was in ruin and I was the only survivor. People didn't like my family much, Claimed my father a maniac and my mother just as so for staying with him. Us children were considered bastard children that needed to go just as much as my parents. Since that day I had to change my name, Gone was Eric Rose, born amongst the fallen leaves was Autumn, and since then I have just been searching...Searching for a place to belong, a home. That is my story, ma'am."
