    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Powergaming is when you don't let the character have a chance in what his or her fate might be, or to reply to an emote in a fight, do not determine others fate. An example would be *man sneaks behind male and stabs him killing him*

As young female Elf, Miaja always strived to fit in, she was left an orphan and most seeds could not take her in, she tried to feel like a member of society by creating art in her wood sculptures and being an active servant to Cerridwen, she knew she was different to everyone else but could not understand what she needed to do in order for her to fit in and become a member of a seed. When she turned 25 Miaja decided instead of waiting for things to happen to her she would show the wood elves that she was an important part of their community. She trained herself to be a Ranger and protector of the forest but she hoped she would never had to use her skills to harm another living being. After a while the Elves around her started to appreciate her and tried to make her feel welcome, she would keep sculpting and drawing, and she would show her respect for the mother and father, she could only hope she had a place in  Aegrothond. She hoped someday she could get closer to the druids, occasional visitors at the forest and people she respected and admired, perhaps even join them someday. Now 49 years old Miaja feels its time to leave the comfort of the forest and explore the world and nature`s beauty. Arcas waits for no one, this is the place where Miaja will take control of her destiny, grow closer with her kin and also try to look for something she would excel at.

Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”
