    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Metagaming is a player applying something they know of in their own world to the character, even if the character may or may not know this subject. For example, a player knowing an attack was coming and having their character announce an attack is coming
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Powergaming is a character doing something they're uncapable of doing. Such as a character defeating multiple enemies with one strike.

Winter earned her name from the surrounding setting she was borin in. Winter usually carries around her bow and arrow being it’s the only weapon she has. Winter has a passion for books and is normally found with her head stuck in one. Winter is a shy young girl who finds herself extremely uncomfortable in the prescence of others. When with animals, winter feels free to be herself and becomes an entirely different person than from who she seems to be. She loves the snow and often plays in it. She squirms around excessively when in the heat and absolutely despises it being that she looses her strength when in the heat. Neutral weather is okay with her, she can freely walk in it but still finds herself uncomfortable. Winter respects her race’s culture , she can never see herself betraying the culture but won’t attack anyone who does betray it. She finds herself both with and against her people’s culture. Winter travels to Frostfall in hopes to find her brother, her last relative. Though she is very secluded, she remembers her time with her brother everyday and has a very strong connection with him.

Physical Description: Winter is a girl with long white hair, purple eyes, and pale skin, and has a height of 5'7.
Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”

  • Your skin is too modern for the server setting and needs to be changed to look more like the 1100s looks more or less!

  • Your biography needs at least one lore reference in it, this can be a place or a person that your persona would have had the chance to met/be at in their lifetime.

  • Your powergaming/power emoting definition needs to be cleared up a little, I’d recommend using an example to make sure you understand it!

  • Your Metagaming definition needs to be cleared up a tad and needs to have an example of it. I wish you good luck! ?
