Wiliam was born in Reza of the Kingdom of Haense. He was born into a loving family with his mother, Mary, and father, John the Brave. When he was 5, his mother introduced him to the Church of the Canon and he has remained a strong believer. Orcs killed his father, who was a soldier, when he was a child at the age of 6. This has made him want to also be a warrior since he was a child as to protect those he cares about from those who may want to harm them. Since his father died when he was very young, he had to undertake many chores that his dad took care of until he turned 18. Because he had to undertake these chores, he is not very educated. Due to his fathers death, his childhood was very dull and filled with never-ending chores. He became a warrior at the age of 18 and constantly wears his armor as to always be ready for battle. He fears that not being prepared could mean the loss of a life, which he could never live with. He has been to battle two times and has proved he is fearless. He is most known for his ability to fight multiple men at one time as shown in the Three-Month War.
As he takes in the view, Wiliam replies saying, “I am here seeking the king.” He takes a moment to take in the massive and beautiful city before he starts to walk with the well-dressed man, who urges him to follow. As he is walking, the man asks why he is seeking the king, which he swiftly replies saying, “I am a messenger from the King Sigismund II of Haense.” As they approach the king, Wiliam bows and begins explaining that King Sigismund II has sent him to negotiate peace. They agree on terms and Wiliam is on his way back to Haense to tell King Sigismund II the good news.
