Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

The wood elf was quite confused at the sudden hospitality but was not one to turn it down Merriath was a wood elf from deep woodlands he was regarded as strange by his people but above all else he wished to make people happy. he sat down with her and poured some tea of the old hags. he did not mean to come off as rude he Just was not accustomed to this more civilized way It seems his oddities had shone through. he paused a moment pondering his next choice of words before speaking. "I have come here to make people happy whether they realize I am or not." his usual wide grin falters only slightly, "I was never shown such happiness as a boy. so I will spread it here. most people don't realize what will really make them happy." he pauses a moment thinking his next supposedly "brilliant idea" over, "perhaps you can help me, what do you say?"
