Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
Balduin looks at the old hag. He tries to smile, but the smell of the swampy town disgusts him so much that he constantly has to hold his right hand in front of his mouth and nose.
"Really?" He starts to grin, than he smells the air surrounding him again and coughs "You expected me? I was not expecting that someone was expecting me. Usually if you expect someone you should know his name, or am I wrong?"
"Neither your name nor your story is known to me. I only knew that you would come to me. So tell me who you are" the old lady answers whilst the candles become darker and a mysterious mist drifts through the room.
He nods, slightly nervous he answers "I am Balduin, a humble man trying to find someone great to follow. I was born in a land far off, not known by many, where I studied the arts of music and architecture." His voice fills with joy as he continues "I roam around the towns and cities of this world to find inspiration and to study the cultures of every humanoid creature." Examines the woman from head to toe "Now you know what is to say about me, but you said you awaited me. So tell me, what is my fate?"
