Leena comes from the Meranesian Islands and is part of the Maheta tribe. Her father was an advisor to many of the leaders. Leena's mother had died during childbirth leaving her motherless. Her father had given her a ring that belonged to her mother and told her it would always bring her home, not that she understood what he meant. Her father was always trying to arrange marriages to make sure when he died Leena was taken care of but Leena did not want any of this. She wanted to escape and travel to study everything and everyone she would meet. She was determined to find away off the island. Determined to explore the world she had little to no experience with.
