Konrad Kaltheim
Born during a blizzard on a cold Sun Smile’s night where the temperature was below freezing, the snow blocked out all traces of the sun, and the wind howled it’s eerie song through the tall snow cloaked pine trees. Konrad did not start life easily or comfortably. His mother died in child birth that cold winter night and he was left to be raised by an angry and hard father on the coldest and most barren Southern frontier of the Hanseti-Ruska border, far from the comforts or the warmth of the more urban and Northern cities of man. Konrad continued eking out a rather harsh life in the colder lands of his birth until the day his Father died, working as a blacksmith’s apprentice, a lumberjack, and finally a miner, all of which never seemed to go well. With nothing left tying him to the cold and barren Southern land of his birth, and an increasingly desperate financial situation, he’s decided to move North to the Kingdom of Haense to fulfill whatever story destiny has planned for him...and to thaw out from the cold.
