To the Elders of the Mali'ame,
I speak to you know to ask for my forgiveness.
During the conflict between Laureh'lin and Haelun'or, my Seed and I were living in a small village near to the slopes of the Mali'fenn, for that is where my father originated. The night of The Protection of Phaedrus Lle'hielia, some man coming knocking at our door. My father, who was there at the time, told my mother and I to go to the second floor and hide. We did so and for the rest of the night my father screamed. The house was raided and when they pulled open the chest my mother jumped out, making sure no one suspected I was there. Hours later I found my father dead with golden letters spelled on the floor near his gold covered face 'May the protection of Phaedrus Lle'hielia be with you damned' .
My seed is dead. Or so I believe, for my mother was never seen again after that night.
From then on I have resided in the territory of the Mali'fenn, where my father grew up, I have learned much from the education they share but I am an outcast all the same. I hope to find where my mother was from and learn her ways, and to be able to heal any who come my way, so the tragedies of that night may not befall me or them again. That is why I am writing you this letter, because after extensive research I think she came from your land.
My mother did tell me one thing about her race, though.
Before she left me in that chest she whispered in my ear, so no one could hear, "May Cerridwen guide you through life, and Cernunnos protect you. Guide my soul to you, Mother, Father."
And that is that.
Please accept my sorrow for my cowardice in battle, and not reporting the event, but I humbly ask you for the Mother and Fathers forgiveness.
May They watch you live and thrive,
Ënari Sen'orphia
