    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: In short words, it is basically putting yourself in position of a god. one example is asserting your power/ability to do a certain action without reconsidering that maybe something else might hinder it.

The Biography of The Tinker

 

Magic was not part of the life of Dr  Walter Delacroix. Despite growing up in Sutica where magic thrives, he despised magic as this ended his life's purpose.

 

Growing up with a strange condition of seeing things differently from anyone else, he had the ability to innovate in just the simple blink of his eyes. New inventions sprung from this man's mind right when he was a little boy.  His parents took notice of this when he started creating artillery from sticks and stones. From rags to riches the Delacroix family took a swoop turn into the life of wealth. The Delacroix abused Walter for his gift. Walter couldn't resist seeing his parents sad so he took the abuse, all for the life of his Clan. 

 

Walter was a prodigy in Music, Biology and Machinery. Minstrels, Mechanics and Doctors would envy him. Although, this meant that he was everything besides a warrior, he excels at strategy, a prime tactician as others may say but has very low physique. As much as he is fascinated by all things, this can sometimes lead him to scarring situations which trigger his overloaded mind with thoughts.

 

The Delacroix family was despised by multiple industries because it ruined their businesses, but Walter was innocent. He was not aware of any of this. He was never allowed to know. That then soon changed when a horde, no, an army of dark casters of magic massacred his family whilst him just in his room, tinkering for his next invention. As much as he knows almost everything, one thing that he did not know is that his clan is becoming extinct.

 

Walter found out everything, and from then he despised magic so much. Science was not a popular thing to rely back then, but Walter did not give up, he would  create a revolt against magic, take his revenge, and continue the clan's legacy.

 

Walter created a philosophy that magic isn't the only offspring of Knowledge, that it is a plethora of different aspects--- one he believes is technology

 

Til' this day Walter hopes to innovate and create things he has not thought of.

Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”

♥ Your definitions are a bit off, please fix them up and even better if you can give out examples of them.

♥ Your biography is good but lacks the required AT LEAST ONE server lore reference. It can be a place name, religion or old happened event name.

♥ I would love if you could change your character name. It's very odd and long, and it will be very hard for people to remember.
