    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: to avoid powergaming never decide someone else's action or their outcomes and always respect your own characters limits.
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: it ruins the main reasons of roleplaying, you don't actually play as your character. your playing as yourself and that gives unfair advantages and overall ruins the whole experience.

Physical Description: 180 cm, 80kg, long brownish darkish hair, green eyes, and the outfit of a hunter. very lanky but also average build
Roleplay Scenario:

Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

I hesitantly sit down, and I look around. Then I tell her "I'm a hunter" i take a deep breath "i come from a long line of hunters from a tribe of nomads far to the east" I sigh "but to be honest, I despised to be among them, it was suffocating... so i came here to pursue a new life far way from my tribe end of story" I get up and stretch "anyway, I've been doing all kinds of odd jobs here and there, so i know know my way around, also if your having any kinds of issues, you can contact me, and I'll be sure to finish it in no less than a week"

Your response is not quite right, for powergaming, please explain what you can do in your roleplay to avoid powergaming. Ensure to include an example in your response for Metagaming. If you're having a hard time writing something down/or don’t know how else to word it, contact a community member. If you need help, please feel free to reach out.
  • Please make sure to mark out what your character is saying with quotation marks for legibility reasons.
