Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

*Nemui stumbles a little as she walks the uneven terrain, her eyes remain fixed on the old hag. She takes her seat across from them.*

"I have come seeking knowledge, someone who has mastery over life evocation itself..." *Nemui's eyes remain determined*

*Nemui watches as the old hag sits and listens intensively, it makes her feel, slightly deterred, as if being made to open her heart* "I want to become immortal, I've done so much research in my life, into obtaining the purest form of life... A way for me to stay around." *Neumui fidgets her hands along the ground as her face clearly shows she's thinking hard*

*Her eyes gloss through the tent now finally taking those surroundings in and speaks quietly* "A long time ago, when I was a lot younger I met a man at a circus, as it happened he was also a performing inventor, he showed me all of his inventions and magical tools... it was.. breath taking." *Nemui Sighs*

"He taught me all I know about magic, about the basic knowledge of magic and mechanical parts.. he was a very patient man" *Her face forms a kind smile*

"I.. I'm not very good with understanding magic, it was already a struggle just learning the basics. I've always been a woman more of calculations and theories than a field tester myself.." *Nemui's eyes look to the ground, after a moment of silence she slowly looks back up to the old hag with a sliver of hope*

"have you heard of an Animati before?... a perfect being made from machine and magic... that's what I am looking into.. that was my teachers and I's dream.." *Nemui looks into the old hags eyes, her face showing slight signs of fear from the words she just said.*

"I would like to become one of those.. I have my own reasons, my own... motivations for doing so." *Nemui's body relaxes a bit* "I'm afraid to die.. not before I've learned and seen everything.."

*Nemui slowly gets up from her seated spot, she dusts her clothes off before speaking.* "so please, I come here in favor, in hope to further my goals.. would you please allow yourself to spread the knowledge you share?" *Nemui bows her head asking for this monumental favor*
