Cade lived with his family in a peaceful town, happy life, perfect life. Until at the age of 9 orcs invaded his town and killed everyone, including his entire family. Cade ran and managed to slip past the orcs undetected and was picked up by a pack of thieves. He was raised by the thieves for years, until he was 16. Then the thieves were caught by knights from Markev. They imprisoned the thieves, but decided to train Cade, because he was so young. Cade was trained by the soldiers of Markev until the age of 50, when he was forced to retire due to his old age. But that didn't stop him, he still travels the earth hunting and killing all the orcs he can see.

They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”
