Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
((How do you respond?))
"Oh, hello." Rinaldo answers her, and then obeys to her order and sits down on the cushion, "Alright, finally. Let me begin from the start. My name is Rinaldo Bellini, I was born thirty years ago, son of a so-called wealthy merchant. Unfortunately, his wealth was only the result of loans after loans. We had to live as fugitives until I reached the age of eighteen years old, when my father went missing without a trace. My mother was distraught, and she died because of the grief. The creditors came and took everything that me and my family had, and so I began living on the streets. Luckily, I was taken in by a blacksmith, who taught me the secrets of the profession. After many years of him teaching me, I also became a blacksmith. Not as good as my master, though.
As the years passed, he became too old to take care of me, and was close to his death. His last desire was to see me become a fully fledged blacksmith. He told me to go and explore the world to create my own foundry. And here I am, aiming to fulfill his wish."
