“King’s Ivy.. Shadeleaf..” She sighs. “They’re very.. beautiful.”
She whispered to herself, as she flips into the next page.
Young Han Gayuma sighs as she reaches for the bookshelves “Flora.. Genus..” She nods to herself.
Not that she’s smart to understand sophisticated research books. Han just loved staring at the pictures.
The sight of beautiful flowers really astonished her. Imagine, petals of different colors, the sweet scent of nature, a glint of floral reflection.
It wasn’t too long until Young Han’s father noticed this.
He chuckles.
”Are you enjoying my books, Han?”
She ignores this, metaphorically drooling over her father’s books.
Her father grins.
”Come on Han, I’ll show you something you’ll love.”
Closing the book, Han followed.
Beneath the thickets underlies her father’s small hut workshop.
No, but that’s not what Han saw.
The marvelous scenery of floral bushes, orderly lined in a professional environment.
Floral scents encapsulated Han.
“Yes. We’re in dad’s garden.” He chuckles.
The most beautiful flower, the glint of light in the dark. Keep them in closed spaces, lock them away for no one to see.
It was the Grand Harvest of Spring, I’m already reaching the end of my adolescence.
Fourteen Elven years have already passed since I last saw my father.
I still remember clearly that day..
Moonlight points me to where my father rests.
Fluttering petals of flowers, lingering scent of spring.
As if his own experiments turned against him.
Yes, this is because of my naivety.
Father, I wish you weren’t as secluded as me.
I hoped you only stared at the flowers like I did.
Ah, the hypocrisy. There I am standing beside, carrying his book.
To think, I might actually end up as him.
But then again, I survived years trapped in his world.
A world wherein he manipulates flowers.
A world where I don’t have freedom.

Han smiles, bowing modestly. “Thank you.” She replied with a soft voice. “Ah- I’m a traveller, I wander the lands to find my destiny.“ Said as she dramatically stares off into the distance letting ample wind caress through her silver hair. It was rather unclear if she refers to destiny as a person or life, whatever it is, she seeks to find destiny.
”But that’s none of your concern.” She shrugged off her sinister grin, and hesitated.
It wasn’t really necessary to say something rude.
She smiles once again and leaves.
