Naishoten

You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Ahma takes a seat across from her with her legs tucked under herself. She then uses her hands to straighten out her clothes before she speaks. Hello there, My name is Ahma Tokugawa, it is a pleasure to meet you, though... How do you know me? I can't quite say that I recognize you from my travels. Anyway. My name is Ahma Tokugawa, I have been working and living at a shrine most of my life. I have decided that it is time to make a change, though I am not exactly sure what to expect for my future, what I would like is to be the owner of my own shrine I guess. Could be an enjoyable venture of its own. Ahma ponders for a few moments before continuing telling about herself. Well I guess my life also has not been the easiest at times, I lost my parents at a young age and that is why I went to a local shrine. Partly for shelter and food, partly for something to keep me distracted from my loss.
