Rodrik Sieger Norinn was born to Herwin and Mary Norinn on the 11th of the Snow’s Maiden, in the year 1665. Rodrik grew up on his family’s plot of land in between Halsworthy and Curon. His family didn’t own much, for they had lost much of what they had in Axios after arriving in Atlas. But, with a few serfs and supporters of the Norinn Family, they had constructed a farmstead. Rodrik would be raised according to his family’s expectations. He learned to use a longword and round shield from a young age, and later picked up the longbow as well. Throughout his teen years, Rodrik spent a lot of time continuing his career in combat, as well as learning other activities that a High Commoner or Low Noble would take part in. These would include horseback riding, learning to read and write in Common, accompanying his father, younger brother, and bannermen on hunting trips, and studying the Art of Army Organization, Leadership, and Command.
When he was twenty-one, Rodrik’s father encouraged him to set out for Cyrilsburg, in the County of Curon. He told him to find work there, and do his best to rebuild the Family Name stronger than it ever was before.
