    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is when you use information gained OOC (out of character) IC (in character). For example, if I'm using discord in order to determine where someone is so I can kill them rather than finding out IC.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming is when someone does an act that is impossible to do or essentially too forceful. By this I mean if someone is emoting as *X cuts Y's arm off* rather than *X attempts to slash their sword at Y's arm, in the hopes of cutting it off*.
