The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”
''Well its a long story are you sure you have time?'' The traveller asks with confidence while taking a seat, then after a brief pause the traveller speaks again without letting the women think of a answer. '' Well you asked for it so I will bore you. Every day since my brother got that job as a housecarl for some clan up north my parents have been praising him for it. After a year of the nonsense about Dayle I got fed up and left the house to explore the world and become a wealthy merchant. My parents said I would fail and come crawling back but I cant go back now since it would kill me to hear what how much of a disappointment I am so now I'm here. can sleep here for tonight by any chance?'' The old hag thinks for a second and then hisses at the the traveller 'No you may leave, and then starts gesturing to the door. whilst getting walked out the traveller says the final line of 'But I will tell you the time I won a fight at a tavern!'
